Ever need help getting your creative juices flowing? Need last minute activities to make your lesson more engaging and interactive? Never fear, my list of go-to websites is here!
- TeachersPayTeachers: A GOLD MINE and total time saver when it comes to lesson planning! Its also a good way to benefit off the lesson plans YOU have spent hours on making in the past, because now other teacheristas can purchase them from you!
- Quiaa.com: I teach ELA and this website is great to use as an assessment after a lesson; or a quick review the next day. They have an endless amount of activities & quizzes (that they score for you) for any & all grammar and reading comprehension skills.
- LA Pass: Now this is only beneficial for teachers in the state of Louisiana; but its too good not to share! This website was a LIFESAVER before testing! It provides sample items from the iLEAP & LEAP tests (including writing) and it scores them for you. This was helpful for the students because they were very accustomed to the testing format and knew what kind of questions to expect. It was also helpful for teachers; because based on their score you knew which skill needed to be re-taught or focused on.
- Pinterest: DUH! Like any teacher-ista is not well aware by now that this is the go to place for unit plans, craftivities, and lessons for holidays in the classroom.
- TeachingBlogAddict: This is great way to quickly connect with teacher bloggers across America at any grade level/subject. It is very organized and easy to find bloggers that are relevant to subjects you teach. They also have blog contests and who knows, you might be one of their top blogs one day!
